Landing so coolly between our favourite tailoring and the wide-leg jeans of the moment, our Lya pleated jeans are all we'll be wearing this season. We've made them with a cotton-lyocell mix - aka the softest denim you'll ever touch - and their mid wash is achieved through a low-impact process that uses less water.

• Fitted at waist. Cut wide through the leg • High-rise. Cut relaxed through the hip and straight on the leg for an easy fit • Short Inseam: 75cm, Regular inseam 80cm (size 10)
• 60% Cotton, 40% Lyocell • A traditional mid-weight denim that softens and shapes to your body with every wear • Turn inside out and delicate machine wash at 30°C • Do not tumble dry • Warm iron on reverse • Dry cleanable

Unfortunately I had to return these because they were not at all flattering on me. I am size 10/12, 5'5" tall, and after having 3 children my stomach is no longer washboard flat. The fit was fine, the fabric beautifully soft, the length great, they just left me looking rather bloated.

I really like the fit of these jeans around the waist and hips. Very forgiving on the stomach and great at highlighting a smaller waist. The material is really soft too, which makes them easy to move in. I’m 5 foot 7” and they are too long for me. I know this is the style at the moment and if you’re in your 20s it’s probably spot on. But if like me, you spend more time running around after kids rather than running around the town then the length drags on the floor. I’ve taken them up which was an easy job to do because the hem is more like a trouser hem not a traditional jeans hem.
