The slouchy, tapered leg gives them a laid-back look, while more generous sizing through the hips and thighs means they feel a touch roomier for even more comfort. They're made in the same great fabric, but we've swapped out the old zip front for a modern button fly – instant cool points.

Be warned if you buy these, they now have creases pressed into it, despite the pictures not showing this. I’ve no idea if that’s deliberate, whether they’ll wash out, but it doesn’t really suit the boyfriend relaxed style .

I am so pleased with these jeans. The perfect straight leg jeans, comfortable and in the ideal shade of blue. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that the sizing was way off for me personally. I would say I’m a true size 10 on the bottom half. The 10 were very big but in an unflattering way around the top front. I ended up ordering an 8 from John Lewis while they were unavailable at Hush… weirdly, they were even bigger than the 10 somehow!?! But have now received a size 6 and they are totally perfect and flattering. I know I’ll wear them to death. Thank you, Hush!
